Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 55

Here is my take on this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 55. It is for a little guy who is turning 2 next week. I was very inspired by the card that Karen has made and I have been itching to try out the new stamps that I got from Clear Dollar Stamps so I made some time to get this one done. Having decided on the stamps I thought it would come together easily. Was I wrong. I just couldn't get the patterned paper I had chosen to work. So using a little kiwi ingenuity I made my own using a set of stripe stamps that I had made from scraps of rubber. Voila! just the right colours and pattern. One little monster from the Monster Mash set wasn't enough so I gave him some friends. I think I am going to enjoy this set.

Colours: kraft, riding hood red, tangerine tango, glorious green
Stamps: monster mash and lots of spots (CDS), lines (own design)
Finishing touches: spiral punch (SU) spots and dots embossing folder (cuttlebug), red buttons, paper piercer
