Super Scrappy Weekend
A chance to get away for the weekend for some scrapping time with my family. Absolute bliss. Even though it is a bit of a drive it was so worth it. Great company, food and most important time for scrapping. Needless to say we had some late nights so we could squeeze as much time out of it as possible. I had organised my pages before I went which made it easier to get started on each page. A great start to my three year old's album. He has his own album at last.

My husband needed a wedding card made for one of his colleagues at work for everyone to sign. It is my taste at making cards to sell. I love the challenge of creating something special. This one stared off with the wedding papers. I was going to go with red but having worn a top that morning with my favourite colour, teal, I tried it and went with that instead.
Colours: black, white, going grey, pacific point
Stamps: tiny tags and text style (PTI), wedding mini (kaiser)
Finishing touches: wedding papers (bella!), upper crest border punch (fiskars), silver cord, black embossing powder, heart die (verve), pearls (kaiser),stitching, flowers, antique brads (SU)
Who gives a Hoot?
Every now and then I add more cards to my collection. This one is as clean and simple as I tend to get. I saw a card that had used the same layout. The main idea was to use one of my embossing folders as they done't get out much lately.
Colours: sahara sand, tangerine tango, pacific point
Stamps: wise owl and paper tray (PTI), background sampler (SU)
Finishing touches: seeing spots embossing folder (cuttlebug), mandarine twine (the twinery)

We have a girl!
A new member of the family. My niece was born this month. We are surrounded by boys on both sides of the family. A lovely addition. My brother and his wife live in Canada though so its a little far for cuddles. So I put together a parcel with this card and am looking forward to photos for scrapping some pink pages for a change. I was inspired by some beautiful bright dresses that I had seen in a magazine.
Colours: so saffron, taken with teal, pretty in pink, rose red
Stamps: bird (rosies studio), baby (kaiser)
Finishing touches: family time papers (grace taylor), ribbon (unknown), buttons, stitching
New goodies from Stampin Up
It was definitely my birthday at last months stamp club as it was my turn for the hostess and saleabration. So I had to try them out. Love the paper from the sale-a-bration set, everyday enchantment. Would love to see more of this style in the future. I have a great collection of tags with the addition of the lots of tags die. Great to use in different ways. A bit simpler than my usual style. Am missing my sewing machine as it just needed a little more. Another set of cards for my birthday box.
Colours: very vanilla, baja breeze, old olive, tangerine tango
Stamps: whimsical words (SU)
Finishing touches: lots of tags die, evryday enchantment organdy ribbon, brads and DSP (SU)

March Stamp Club
It seems all I have had time for is my challenges and the cards that need to be done. I supposedly have more time with my youngest at kindy, but I think that everything else has stepped up a notch. Time to start having my dessert first and doing what I love, despite wanting to have everything else done first. It keeps me sane.
This month the challenge was mine. Easy as ABC, 123 {you know the song}. Take the initials in your name and choose something to use for each, then name one, two, and three things to use on your card. It could be embellishments, colours or techniques. My take was
Cherry cobbler
Masking technique
Flower
1 ribbon
2 sentiments
