April Stamp Club Challenge
Time for Stamp Club this week. The challenge was to create a card using the Mojo Monday sketch #232. You can see it here. I have been loving putting together different inspiration on my Pinterest boards. I used this one for my colour inspiration with the dash of rich razzleberry. Next time I might go more daring and add the yellow.
Colours: basic grey, island indigo, rich razzleberry
Stamps: live like you mean it, vintage labels, sanded and itty bitty bits (SU)
Finishing touches: island indigo ruffled ribbon, linen thread, antique brad, spiral punch, stitching, distressing

Scrapping on the go
We headed off for a couple of nights camping in the campervan with the boys during the holidays. I thought why not take some scrapping goodies along, you never know? I decided to take our photos from a trip to Auckland that I want to put into a mini album. Good for scrapping away from home as it is easier to take the right colours and embellishments. With the boys occupied with boy things I set up and had a great time scrapping on the go.

On a roll with baby album
Having started Riley's album I have been working away at more pages despite things slowing down with the school holidays. I have enjoyed putting together little details with the different products that I have. It has been some time since I purchased them so it is like shopping all over again pulling out the different things.
Up in the air
I have seen so many variations on clouds both on cards and in scrapbooking. I decided to make a dart {after the boys had been playing around with some} and see how I could use it. Remembering that I had the perfect stencil for clouds tucked away was a bonus. A bit of sponging, some stitching and a sentiment and it was all wrapped up ready for a birthday party for one of my son's friends.
Colours: baja breeze, white, cherry cobbler
Stamps: lots of thoughts
Finishing touches: sponge, vines & designs stencil (creative memories), bakers twine maraschino (the twinery)
