I have been itching to get back to doing some scrapping pages for some time and finally I made it. I have several things on the go that I am wanting to do but opted for doing some pages using a recent purchase. A page of tickets, labels and tagsfor boys by Bella! called Tokens. Where I usually plan my pages around my photos, this time I chose photos that went with these elements. Loving my journalling stamps from Papertrey Ink - Mini Scrapbook Series - Library Ledger. You can do a little or a lot depending on how much you have to write.

Time to catch up
Finally I have had a chance to catch up with all the projects I have been working on over the last month. With some big projects I just haven't had a chance to get on line. It's been all good though as I had the fabulous surprise of a visit from my little brother all the way from Canada. There has been lots to catch up on and with the addition of a new cabinet to my space I have had a sort and am looking forward to more time playing with my new supplies {including my bakers twine which I finally got onto purchasing}.
Time for some layouts again I think.
Yes another baby card
It all started with a paper from My Minds Eye. The colours came together from here. I wanted to use my baby tees stampin around wheel and teamed it up with a new cuttlebug alpha die. I was going to go for glitter but stumbled on my felt collection and decided it was a better look. Will have to go back to the glitter though as I think it will work well with the alpha die.
Colours: very vanilla, taken with teal, early espresso, certainly celery, wild wasabi
Stamps: baby tees and all in the stars (SU)
Finishing touches: felt, red tag sale alpha die (cuttlebug), stitching, buttons, copper embossing powder, island indigo ruffled ribbon
A birthday card
I am glad that I have been up to date with my birthday cards as I haven't had loads of time in my scrapping space. I did come up with this special one for a friend. I wanted to try and recreate the flower from the set on page 93 of the IB&C from Stampin Up and ended up using the whole design. Love the new crochet trim ribbon teamed with the antique brads.
Colours: very vanilla, cherry cobbler
Stamps: backgrounds: text style and retro (PTI), impressions (bella), whimsical words and vintage labels (SU)
Finishing touches: crochet trim: victoria, antique brad and 5 petal punch (SU), apron lace punch (fiskars), clear embossing powder, label stencil

Scrapping Day
After having a turn with some of my supplies the suggestion was made that I put together a class for our kids during the school holidays. It was a lot of fun seeing what I could come up with. It was a fabulous day. The kids did really well with the different things and we had a lot of fun.

A gift for keeps
I have been busy making baby cards and I added to that a photo frame for two special babies born on the same day. I love giving practical gifts but wanted to give them something that they could keep as well.

Trying out my new goodies
Always a goer for a sale, I picked up a pack of Grace Taylor papers on special and found a coordinating butterfly embellishment pack. They formed the base for my baby card that I made for someone at my husbands work. Because it was bigger than my usual size I added a few more details. Love the new in colour ribbons from Stampin up.
Colours: baja breeze, rose red
Stamps: peek a boo (elzybells), banner builder (PTI)
Finishing touches: papers (grace taylor and SU), paper butterflies (grace taylor), typewriter alpha die (cuttlebug), apron lace punch (fiskars), small tag, teddy, heart and star punches, in colour ribbon (SU), buttons, stitching
