Challenge Me Happy #45

I had teamed up these photos and embellishments and they fitted well for Challenge # 45 at Challenge Me Happy. You have to scraplift from the layout from Marie. I tried out some different things including scrunching vellum for a layer.  Love how the arrow border worked with the stitching

Challenge Me Happy #43

I went looking for a challenge and found one at Challenge Me Happy.  

This month is a colour challenge. 

My pages usually start with a photo.  Being out numbered by boys I dug into my photos.  Nice to do something girly for a change.  Once I had gathered up the bits and pieces I thought I would use, I started laying down the layers that I wanted.  The fun was in putting together the embellishments.  I especially enjoyed getting back to stitching on my layouts.

I often think that 'if I only knew in the past what I know now'.  An important reminder.  Whoever you are be you.

I found this fabulous homegrown site for challenges Challenge Me Happy and I have been wanting to take part in one of the challenges.  So I have {all be it sneaked in on the last day}.  The challenge was 'when I grow up'.  You can find the details here.  It was a double challenge really because it was scrapping about me.  Something that doesn't happen often and is sometimes harder.  I guess that was the reason behind the challenge.  Great timing as I have been thinking on these things of late.  Great to get my story down.  It has started me thinking about the other stories I have to tell.
